Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a firearm-related incident in Fleet.
The incident, which involved two vehicles travelling along Blackbushes Road, occurred shortly after 7.30pm on Friday, December 27.
The occupants of one of the vehicles reported that a passenger in the second vehicle was in possession of a shotgun, which at one point was pointed out of the window.
Detectives are carrying out extensive enquiries in relation to the incident and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.

Regarding the ongoing investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Alex Spratt, said: “I fully understand the concern that an incident such as this one will cause within the local community, and beyond.
“With that in mind, I would like to reassure you all that our teams and officers have been working tirelessly since this report was first made to us.
“Our many enquiries continue, including house-to-house and CCTV, as we look to establish the full circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible.
“You will continue to see officers in the area of the incident as those enquiries and further increased reassurance patrols continue.
“Please look out for them on your travels and please come over and have a chat with them if you have any concerns, or if there’s anything else you would like to discuss, ask or share with them.
