FOLLOWING a heartfelt celebratory mass in the morning, led by Father Niven of St Joan’s Church in Farnham, it was time for year 11 pupils at All Hallows School to dress up for their prom.
The theme was ‘The Great Gatsby’ and they didn’t disappoint. The students were dressed to impress in their suits, dinner jackets and eye-catching prom dresses.
Many arrived in traditional vintage Bentleys and Rolls Royces, while others chose more modest forms of transport, with some even using skateboards and a group of four boys arriving on a sofa.
There was plenty of dancing in the school hall, which was unrecognisable due to the transformation with drapes, palm trees, and lights.
The school pond area resenbled a fairy garden with lanterns, lights and a fruit cocktail bar, which just added to the magical setting.
Everyone had a great night that finished with a conducted version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
According to All Hallows’ teaching staff, the students were impeccably behaved throughout the day and they wish them all the very best in the future and look forward to seeing them in their sixth form college next year.
