DON’T miss the annual Haslemere Christmas Market, taking place on Sunday, December 1 from 10am to 4pm.
The High Street and West Street will be transformed into a giant fair and the fun continues inside Haslemere Museum and The Georgian Hotel.
On offer are delicious treats, entertainment, a farmers’ market, live nativity and Santa’s Grotto.
Traffic diversions will be in place and a free shuttle bus will operate from Lion Green, Wey Hill car park and Haslemere Station.
It’s also a big opportunity for town organisations to showcase their talents, and Sunday will see the launch of the 2020 Haslemere Fringe Festival.
The three-day biennial festival featuring headline acts and more than 30 live bands sold out in 2018, and runs from July 3 to July 5 next year.
Extra early-bird tickets will be on sale at the Lion Bar in the High Street at the Christmas Market and festival organisers are hoping to sign up volunteers and businesses looking to boost their brand through sponsorship opportunities.
