Barmy Bethlehem was the theme for this year's lower school Nativity at Alton School.

It involved children from the pre-school through to Year 2 and was so popular that several performances were held, including one for grandparents and another for parents. There was an amazing range of outfits, loads of character acting and some wonderful singing.

Lower school director Mrs Gerry Mooney said: “Christmas is such a special time for families and we were delighted to have such wonderful audiences for our Nativity. Well done to the children and teachers who worked so hard and made sure that everyone watching had a real treat.”
