Charities, good causes and voluntary organisations around Waverley have been offered a share of £440,000.
Waverley Borough Council is offering handouts through the second round of its Thriving Communities Commissioning Fund.
A total of £442,105 is available with applications now being welcomed from voluntary, charitable or not-for-profit organisations that deliver vital services or activities around the borough.
The first round saw handouts given to 23 organisations that provide initiatives like a youth club for boys, mental wellbeing activities, a singing group for people with dementia and a mentoring programme.
Applications are now being accepted for the second round with the deadline being 4pm on November 28.
Individual applications must require funding of at least £3,000 a year to be eligible for a handout. The funding period runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028 with successful organisations funded for the full three years.
The council will consider funding requests from groups and organisations that typically improve people’s health and wellbeing, enable access to information, advice and guidance, reduce social isolation and loneliness and build stronger, connected communities,
Organisations also can also ask for help for costs to deliver projects or activities for people who have higher needs, or who are more vulnerable and disadvantaged.
Cllr Kika Miryless, WBC portfolio holder for community services, leisure and EDI, said the council is delighted to be offer further funding to voluntary organisations in the borough.
She added: “I would urge all eligible organisations to come forward and apply so that they can continue their valuable work in the borough, especially amongst our most vulnerable communities on which they have such a positive impact.”
