Drinkers will get the chance to cheque out a major transformation in Farnham town centre next week as a bank will reopen as a pub and boutique hotel.

The former Lloyds branch has been converted with the Teller’s Arms on Castle Street due to open next Thursday, October 17.

The new hostelry is part of the Youngs empire of nearly 220 pubs but there’s more to the watering hole than alcohol.

The development features nine boutique bedrooms and will be serving meals throughout the day from breakfast to late evening.

The pub’s first weekend in business should raise a few eyebrows around town as special horses will pull the firm’s barrel-laden wagons during a visit from midday to 3pm next Saturday.

For those already planning for the festive season, the pub is already taking on Christmas bookings, for more details and bookings visit https://www.tellersarmsfarnham.co.uk/christmas/
