PLANS to build a film studio complex, akin in size to Shepperton and Pinewood, on the Louisburg Barracks site have been announced. Nick Kennedy, founder of Britannia Digital Film Studios, said that negotiations have been ongoing with East Hampshire District Council for three years. Now, with the arrival of the Homes and Communities Agency's outline application to build 500 homes on the site, Mr Kennedy wanted to make residents aware that there is a "credible alternative".
