A group of handymen have 1,600 reasons to thank drinkers and organisers of a beer-illiant event in Bordon.
Ed Spice and his team at The Tap at the Shed have donated the sponsorship money from their third annual beer festival to Bordon Men’s Shed.
Craft beer and real ale drinkers were spoilt for choice at the weekend event with 20 guest beers and ciders on offer.
The event also featured plenty of live music with volunteers from the men’s shed helping out on the Friday and Saturday sessions.
The festival has also become a boon for local charities with last year’s event raising £3,000 for Bordon Food Bank.
So the men’s shed were thrilled to be the recipient this time round, with funding going towards their new permanent workshop behind the Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre.
“The Bordon Men’s Shed would like to thank all the clients and sponsors at The Tap Beer Festival for their generosity, and particularly Ed Spice,” said the group’s chair, Jim Bryant.
