ROWLEDGE Brownies are appealing for more adult volunteers who “understand the importance of friendship” and want to pass this onto the girls.
The Brownies, aged seven to 10, meet on a Thursday evening at Rowledge School. They enjoy lots of fun activities including singing, crafts, cooking, hiking, dancing, sports and games and join in community fundraising events and village clean-ups.
Brownie leader Helen Mortimer said: “There is masses of support locally and our leaders make lots of friends and feel that they make a difference to the girls’ lives.
“If you think you might enjoy a new challenge and all the laugher of fun that comes with a noisy, busy bunch of funny, kind, sweet little girls, do get in touch and have a chat.”
