The director of a care at home service has spoken of her excitement and gratitude following its launch in Alton.

There were heartwarming celebrations in the Assembly Rooms on April 9 as the doors to CareYourWay Alton, Farnham and Farnborough were virtually opened.

Around 40 people took part in the “lively” launch with Alton Town Mayor, Cllr Annette Eyre, and Karen Murrell from Dementia Friendly among the special guests.

Michelle Hoare, franchise development manager at the firm’s head office also attended with the launch featuring live music, bingo, free afternoon tea and a well-supported charity raffle.

One delighted client struck it lucky twice during the latter, to the cheers of fellow attendees, with another local firm generously donating a selection or raffle prizes to raise £150 in support of Dementia Friendly Alton.

“We are overwhelmed by the support and love we have received from our local businesses for the raffle donation, as well as the community coming together to support us launch our new homecare business,” said Rachel Tarrant, director and registered manager of CYW Alton, Farnham and Farnborough.

“We are so exciting to bring our award-winning homecare to this area and cannot wait to start this incredible journey.

“Our mission is simple: to deliver care that feels like family, with compassion at the heart of everything we do.”

The well-attended event marks the start of a new chapter for CYW in the area with the firm keen to bring its high-quality personalised home care services to residents.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “With our heartfelt tagline, Our Family Caring For Yours, the team is passionate about supporting individuals to live well, safely and happily at home.”
