Families and footballers have raised a glass to The Binsted Inn after they pumped £561 into their local side.

The watering hole has demonstrated its commitment to helping local causes by making a donation to Binsted FC.

The handout will go towards enhancing the club’s facilities, equipment and opportunities for local children to develop their skills and passion for football.

The handover took place at the award-winning pub with kids and parents celebrating the much-needed boost to their grassroots sports programme.

“We’re thrilled to support Binsted Football Club,” said Tanya Kamm, owner of The Binsted Inn.

She added: “It’s so important to encourage youth sports and strengthen our local community.”

The donation is nothing new as The Binsted Inn is known locally for its community engagement and its staunch support for local initiatives, events and suppliers.
