A breakdown didn’t stop members of a bus company which serves Farnham, Weyborne and Badshot Lea from proudly attending a party in Aldershot.

Stagecoach wanted to bring their vibrant Pride bus to Rushmoor Pride only for unforeseen circumstances to leave the vehicle out of service.

But their team still showed incredible dedication and determination by adapting a van and bringing a gazebo to ensure their presence was still felt.

Despite the challenges, the team’s participation added to the success of the event, which saw a tremendous turnout of over 200 attendees.

“I am yet again blown away by the spirit from people within our depot,” said operations manager Aaron Hodgkiss.

“Despite the unexpected issues with transportation, they still attended and supported the Pride event. We’re looking forward to the next one running without any issues!”

Bus drivers Reece Shipton and Jan Smith were among the Stagecoach workers who attended the event.
