A sequel has begun at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) as a screen industry leader has returned with a new title and focus.
Professor Lyndsay Duthie is ready for action as the UCA’s former school head of film, media and performing arts has returned after five years away.
The Production Guild of Great Britain CEO has become Pro Vice-Chancellor for Academic Partnerships and Industry Engagement.
Her focus is to establish two new avenues of industry connection and entrepreneurialism – an Industry Hub and The Agency – to ensure students are industry-read for a creative career.
She said: “I am incredibly excited to be returning to UCA in this new role, which represents a perfect blend of what I’ve done in my career – higher education and the creative industries.”
“We know her expertise and experience will prove vital in making this new role a big success,” said UCA president and vice-chancellor, professor Jane Roscoe.
