A housebuilder has donated £200 to a Whitehill & Bordon playgroup to buy construction toys.
Taylor Wimpey South Thames gave the handout to Toddler Tuesdays as the group based at The Shed is close to their Duke’s Quarter development.
The playgroup provides a safe space for parents and toddlers to get stuck into a variety of activities and projects from soft play to cake decorating.
More than 30 children under four regularly take part with Dayne Cartwright, managing director at The Shed, thanking Taylor Wimpey for the generous donation.
She said: “We were in need of new toys and to see the reaction of the children at the playground once they arrived made it so worthwhile.”
The toys included trucks and diggers, toy hammers and even PPE items like hard hats and hi-vis vests.
“We’re glad to hear the children at Toddler Tuesdays are enjoying the toys,” said sales and marketing director, Louise Adams.
