A Farnham jeweller has given a prize-winner from Surrey the perfect Christmas present and wedding gift for a bride-to-be.

Janice Reen won £1,000 of Andre Noir Jewellery after the Lion & Lamb retailer ran a Christmas prize draw.

She was thrilled to receive a phonecall from new owner, Dan Fox, and Farnham mayor, Cllr Brodie Mauluka, after the latter pulled her name out of the hat.

She selected her prizes on Christmas Eve while the timing couldn’t be better with a big year ahead.

She said: “I am getting married soon and have chosen a beautiful pear-shaped diamond pendant to wear on my special day as my prize.

Janice added: “I am also getting earrings made to match.”

Anyone over the age of 18 could enter the free prize draw to win £1,000 worth of Andre Noir jewellery with Cllr Mauluka confirming the winner’s name minutes after the deadline on the 23rd.
