SEVEN Hampshire businesses have been shortlisted at the 2017 UK Wedding Awards, including an Elizabethan manor house in Headley Down.
Cain Manor has made it on to the shortlist for the UK Wedding Awards 2017, recognising the best of the UK’s bridal industry.
Seven Hampshire businesses - in the bridal boutique, country wedding venue, wedding stationary and the wedding florist categories - have made the shortlist, in the awards founded by Farnham couple Damian and Anna Bailey.
The nominees across all 22 categories focused on five key areas - fashion, venues, suppliers, travel and gift lists - and were chosen, from hundreds of entries, by a panel of industry experts.
Headley Down’s Cain Manor is barn-style country house which joined the Bijou Wedding Venues family in 2003. It is licensed for civil ceremonies both inside and out and can seat up to 123 guests.
Zoe Jobson, Immediate Media wedding-magazines’ publisher, said: “We are delighted with the level of entries that we have received for the UK Wedding Awards 2017. The range, quality and diversity of the entries is a real reflection on the talent and service levels we have in the UK wedding market.”
It is now up to the public to decide who wins by voting for their favourites at hitched.co.uk/awards.
Voting closes on Thursday, February 9. Every person who votes will be entered in to a prize draw for the chance to win a romantic two-night stay in the Ardanaiseig Hotel, Scotland, including dinner for each night.
