A night of music in Farnham has raised plenty of notes for a campaign to beat cancer.
Farnham’s two Cancer Research shops provided another top night of entertainment in aid of Stand Up To Cancer last Friday at the Ivy Club.
And the fundraiser was definitely noteworthy, with more than £2,200 being raised and a wealth of musical talent being showcased.
Vic Cracknell of Open Mic and Swing Bang fame welcomed guests to the Stand Up To Cancer show while the night was enhanced by musical treats from Lizzy Hales.
Matt, the manager of CRUK’s West Street shop, opened with a heartfelt reflection of what the night was about before his Downing Street counterpart, Moya, brought mellow singing and a glamourous backing from the Standettes.
The evening was a chance for people to enjoy a drink, win fantastic raffle prizes, and buy discounted top-brand items while raising money for a very good cause.
