Boys aged seven to 12 and girls aged nine to 14 are invited to a free open rehearsal for potential new choir members at St Thomas-on-The Bourne Church in Farnham on September 13 at 5.30pm.

Children will have a chance to sing with the current choristers, meet the music team, find out about life in the choirs and enjoy social time with biscuits and games.

On September 14 at 6pm the church hosts an Alumni End of Summer Concert, organised by James Harrison, which will showcase current and recent choir singers and feature pieces by Finzi, Debussy, Vaughan Williams and Schubert.

The choir has just returned from Paris, where it sang in the La Madeleine and Saint-Sulpice churches. On September 7 it held a concert at St Thomas, featuring the music it performed in Paris, to raise money for future tours.
