TWO East Hampshire charities – HomeStart Butser and Liphook Day Centre – were supported by children fom Churcher’s College Junior School, who donated food offerings at their annual harvest festival.
Pupils participated in unwrapping prepared food presents which included popular food choices such as popcorn and chocolate, as well as less popular food choices such as mushrooms and butternut squash, and were reminded to be grateful for all food, not just their favourites.
The festival also featured music by the school’s choir, the Ballistic Brass group, while the infants sang a harvest song.
