Young artists have been creating greeting cards to welcome new residents to Brightwells Yard in Farnham.
Artist Kate Kennington Steer led the New Ashgate Gallery’s two card making workshops at Gostrey Meadow in Farnham, which attracted around 120 participants.
Gallery director Dr Outi Remes said: “Our project invited Farnham residents to create mixed media cards to brighten someone’s day, each contributing to the creation of even more beautiful cards.
“We aim to produce 159 cards over a series of workshops, with each new home in Brightwells Yard receiving a card to welcome its owners to Farnham. Participants also have the chance to make a card to take home.
“We look forward to delivering some of these beautiful cards to Brightwells in due course.”
The workshops are sponsored by the South Street Trust. A third one will be held at the New Ashgate Gallery on October 29 from midday until 2pm.
