PUPILS at South Farnham Infant School danced their way through the decades in support of Comic Relief.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils joined in, dancing all the way from the Charleston to Baby Shark and everywhere in between, learning about new styles of dance and music on the journey. They celebrated the end of the danceathon with a red nose-themed cake sale.

Across the infant and junior school sites, children took part in a week-long fundraising effort, starting with a teachers versus children general knowledge quiz.

As well as the danceathon, there was a paper aeroplane race, a bake-off and an art competition, concluding with the fabled ‘de-bearding’ of teacher Chris Joint.

Pupils managed to raise a whopping £2,262.25 overall for Comic Relief, with one student, Ella, even donating £50 of her birthday money!
