Farnham has accepted a special delivery as the annual Cards for Good Causes charity Christmas pop-up shop is back in town.
The shop will be open daily - including Sundays for the first time - from 10am to 4pm from a temporary cabin in the car park at Farnham Maltings.
Visitors can stock up on a host of festive musts from Christmas cards and Advent calendars to candles, tableware, decorations, giftwrap and small gifts such as oven gloves, hot water bottles and slipper socks.
“We wrap up warm and it’s for charity so we don’t mind,” said manager Shirley Hair, who routinely braves the chill along with her dedicated volunteers.
“People have been coming in to buy plenty of cards and we are restocking regularly so there’s a good choice for you.
“We also have gifts, tissues – useful this time of year – calendars; you can stock up for Christmas.”
The products are sold in aid of both local and national charities with CFGC raising more than £22.5million annually for a network of more than 100 good causes.
In addition, they’ve contributed over £2.7 million to local churches, libraries and community projects.
Christine Ansell, CEO of Cards For Good Causes, said: “In these times when every penny counts, we’re delighted to offer shoppers in Farnham a unique opportunity to support charities that are changing lives while also strengthening local communities”.
The shop will be open in the car park until December 21 and stock is also available online at https://www.cardsforcharity.co.uk.
