Shoppers can give an early Christmas present to charity by snapping up a copy of Farnham’s biggest advent calendar.

The 2024 Farnham Lions Advent Raffle has been launched with more than 70 prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs.

People who buy a £5 copy could open the door to a wide variety of treats from children’s activities and festival tickets to a turkey or Christmas hamper.

The advent has already been a hit as more than 200 copies were snapped up during the Farnham Food Festival.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors Robert and Tanya Lewis, Michael Conoley Associates, Andrew Lodge and local artist, Susie Lidstone, every penny raised will be used to support local good causes.

Copies can be purchased at pop-up stalls and events in the Lion & Lamb Yard, Farnham Hospital and Maltings Christmas market.
