Vokes Lunch Club welcomed 25 members to its Normandy Street premises in Alton for their Christmas lunch on December 21.

They arrived from mid-morning onwards and were served tea and coffee before participating in pre-lunch carols led by Carolyn Wilson-Webb and Ros Nutbeam of the Worldham Choir.

After the carol singing members moved to the decorated dining room for a traditional three-course turkey lunch.

Chef Simon Bullen was complimented and applauded by members for the quality and presentation of the meal, along with staff and volunteers who helped make the event so enjoyable.
