FARNHAM Hedgehog member, Howard Warner, has raised £621 and counting for The Prostate Project, after growing his beard to help save men’s lives during the 2016 OctoBeardFest.

As a member of The Hedgehogs, a charity supporting local people in need in Farnham, Howard has been involved in fundraising for many years, but has recently not been able to help out at the more active events which The Hedgehogs have undertaken.

He continued: “But when I heard about OctoBeardFest I knew that I’d found a way to raise some money which will help fund research into prostate cancer, and will in turn benefit men in Farnham as well as elsewhere.”

The OctoBeardFest was created by the Prostate Project to fund world-class cancer research at the University of Surrey.
