Farnham Library has revealed its most-read books for December 2024.

The statistics reveal the most borrowed books in the categories of adult fiction, adult non-fiction, teen fiction, and children's fiction.

Topping the list for adult fiction was Heads You Win, a thriller by Jeffrey Archer.

I Am, I Am, I Am: Seventeen Brushes with Death by Maggie O’Farrell was the most read non-fiction for adults. The memoir, which is a Costa Novel-Award winner and a Sunday Times bestseller, details the author’s struggles with near-death experiences.

For teens, Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin was the most-read book. The fiction work is a story of identity, memory loss and self-discovery.

The children’s most read book was Brightskies: A Sky-Ship Adventure by Vashti Hardy.
