Farnham Walking Festival will return this year, running from May 10 to June 1.
Organised by Farnham Town Council, the annual event offers a diverse programme of guided walks that celebrate the great outdoors and everything the local area has to offer.
The festival includes more than 30 walks catering to all interests and fitness levels—from leisurely strolls and nature trails showcasing local wildlife to more challenging hikes for seasoned walkers. Each walk is led by a knowledgeable guide, offering participants insights into Farnham’s unique environment and rich history.
Cllr Kika Mirylees, lead member for community and culture, said: “I look forward to welcoming you to the 10th Farnham Walking Festival.
“Over three weeks, we have arranged more than 30 walks. I would like to give my thanks to Farnham and District Ramblers for leading so many of the walks as well as the many other volunteer guides.
“Each guide has specialist knowledge about their route which will make for some very informative walks.”
Most of the walks are free to attend, although a few request a donation to charity.
