PETERSFIELD Town Council has been accused of "high handed, overbearing and arrogant" behaviour by residents who have criticised the handling of protests against the sale of land at Heathfield and Barnfield Road which is set to be developed for housing.

Allan Harper, who represents residents in the area, has made fierce protests against the sale of the land and has written a number of letters to the council asking for the name of the proposed mystery developer.
