A health and sports club on the edge of Farnham has served up an application for three padel courts.

Bosses at David Lloyd hope their bid to replace two tennis courts at their Monkton Lane site will be a smash hit.

The middle courts to the left of the access road will be replaced with three padel alternatives, with a canopy covering the nearest one to the main building.

Approved glass and anti-injury mesh fencing is proposed along with court lighting, seating, planters and the “latest technology in artificial grass”.

Padel tennis is one of the fastest growing sports in Europe.
