The seeds of success could be planted by volunteers at a grassroots event in Badshot Lea this weekend.

Green-minded residents have been invited to get their hands dirty and join Farnham In Bloom volunteers at a “help out” session at the village cemetery from 10am to midday this Saturday (Saturday, March 8).

The forecast for fun is looking blooming great with tasks including litter picking, tidying and preparing a new wildflower meadow.

“The aim is to get the cemetery looking its absolute best ahead of visits by the judges of the Green Flag award and South and South East in Bloom,” said a spokesperson for Farnham Town Council.

There’s no need to book, just turn up, with equipment and refreshments being provided.
