AN Easter egg hunt is taking place in Badshot Lea over the Easter weekend, following the success of the Community Christmas Lights Switch On event.
The Badshot Lea Village Community Easter Trail is taking place on Saturday, March 31, starting between 9.30am and 10.30am and finishing at 1pm.
The Easter trail begins at Badshot Lea Village Infant School where all participants will be given a map.
They will then be directed to the delights of the Badshot Lea Fishing Ponds (open to the community especially for this event), Tice’s Meadow, St George’s Church, Badshot Lea Pond and finishing at The Kiln.
At each area there will be members of that particular organisation ready to stamp the Easter Trail Map with a special stamp.
Entry costs £5 per family, and at the end of the trail there will be free activities, refreshments and Easter egg prizes.
All the refreshments and Easter eggs have been sponsored by Devine Homes, who are building the future housing development in Badshot Lea, and all monies raised from the trail will be given to Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund (CSSEF).
CSSEF is a local charity which supported the school by donating £10,000.
