FOR the third time in three years, All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham has received a letter of commendation from the Department of Education.

It means All Hallows has yet again been ranked in the top 100 state schools in the country for both attainment and progress in GCSE results.

Headteacher Elizabeth Lutzeier said: “I am really grateful to the staff and students for all their hard work. We have been number 62 out of 6,250 schools for the last two years. We’re aiming to make it into the top 50 next year.”

In a separate letter from the Department of Education, All Hallows has also been commended for being “one of the most improved schools in the country in terms of the attainment and value-added progress of disadvantaged pupils since 2012”.
