A NEW nurture room at a Farnham school has celebrated its new setting by opening its doors for an art exhibition.
The Den at Potters Gate Primary School allowed students to show off their creativity during exhibition.
Its new setting was funded by St Faith’s Trust.
The Den provides a nurturing space for the children to experience their emotional and academic learning in a consistent, calm environment resourced to meet their needs.
Youngsters read to dog Percy, from Pets As Therapy, when he visits the school weekly with his owner Van.
Home-school link worker Carly Harries said: “It is a real privilege to be part of the children’s growth and development through a nurture group.
“The event was a real celebration of the support from parents and carers, staff, partners and charities and of how hard the children have worked this year.”
