IT was an out-of-this-world adventure for youngsters at Badshot Lea Village Infant School when they enjoyed a planetarium visit.
Part of a ‘Blast Off’ topic, the planetarium dome was set up at the school last month, and each class took a journey into space.
Headteacher Gemma Ball said: “Some visited the International Space Station and found out what life on board was like.
“Others whizzed around the rings of Saturn or visited one of the many moons in our solar system.
“It was a wonderful day and a fabulous experience for the children, one we will certainly look to repeat in the future. A special thank you to our PTA, ‘The Friends’, who funded this extraordinary day.”
