PUPILS at Woodlea Primary School spent time creating their own Christingles ahead of two separate services.

Vicar Dom Clarke from the Beacon Church in Bordon welcomed parents and family members to both services at the Whitehill school.

Susan Blanks, Year 3 parent said: “It was interesting for both adults and children to learn more about the origins of the Christingle and the meaning behind it.

She added: “A parent commented on how lovely it had been to be invited into the school for such a lovely service and to see the children’s obvious enjoyment.”
