FARNHAM Sixth Form College is one of the first local colleges to take action on the problem of mental health issues with students.

On Wednesday, March 21, the students will welcome a team from Happy Space, which is a charity set up to deal with mental health problems among students.

This group will give separate lectures to first year and second year students, followed by an afternoon lecture to other local schools who were invited by the college.

Some of the schools attending include Weydon School, All Hallows School, Heath End School and Ash Manor School.

After each lecture there will be an opportunity for the students to ask questions to the Happy Space representatives.

Happy Space have given successful lectures at Frensham Heights, University of London and recently to St Paul’s School for Girls.
