AMERY Hill School’s annual presentation evening was held at the Alton Maltings on Monday when last year’s Year 11 students received their GCSE certificates and special subject achievement awards.
Introduced by the heads of department, the evening provided an opportunity to celebrate effort, contribution and achievement.
Particular mention went to Ben Williams for achieving 100 per cent attendance throughout his five years at Amery Hill and Annia Grey for achieving full marks in her English Literature GCSE.
Commenting on the event, progress leader Owain Lewis said: “It has been lovely to welcome so many former students to this year’s Presentation Evening and to hear about their current studies and ambitions for the future.
“We look forward to hearing about this year groups’ progress in future years and wish them every success.”
