SUPERHEROES keep people safe - so Bordon Infant School pupils turned into them in an effort to remain so online.

As part of the school’s Science Week, they dressed up for protection while learning how to look after themselves and others when using computers, tablets and phones, and how to be nice to others.

Pupils discussed what to do in a range of online situations, played games about what information should be private, and looked at home and school online activities, including phone app games and YouTube videos. They then drew up rules about online safety and behaviour.

Headteacher Matt Greenhalgh said: "Children are surrounded by technology and we believe the earlier we can teach them about how to keep themselves safe when online, the better. We also explored the idea of ensuring what they do and say online is kind, caring and considerate.

"Dressing up as superheroes made it fun and a day to remember."
