The winter exhibition at Farnham’s New Ashgate Gallery, Celebrating the Season, will run from November 16 to January 11 and feature more than 200 of the finest UK artists and makers.

Whether searching for unique, high-quality gifts or looking to support local makers, this exhibition is a must-visit for art lovers and festive shoppers alike.

David Mayne, one of the UK’s leading sculptors, will be the Sculptor in Focus.

Known for striking public sculptures that can be seen across the country, including the Farnham Sculpture outside the gallery, his work merges the natural world with urban spaces.

His exquisite miniatures, inspired by his Yorkshire surroundings, are perfect for collectors and art enthusiasts.

The exhibition offers a treasure trove of affordable, high-quality hand-crafted gifts, including bespoke paintings, ceramics, jewellery, glass and textiles.

This is an incredible opportunity to shop locally while supporting the talented makers who bring such creativity and joy to the community. From fine art to festive decorations, there is something special for everyone.

Holly Berry, who creates woven textiles, will be the Winter Maker in Focus.

Other featured artists and makers include Shimara Carlow, Fleur Grenier, Sally Anne Fitter, Peter Layton, Beatrice Larkin, Jarrad Belton, Yen Duong, Lyndsay Fairley, Peter Hayes, Kevin Stamper, Melina Xenaki, Gabi Komar-Dixon, Gin Durham, Hilke MacIntyre, Peter Beard, Fiona Pearce, Sigi Hill, Jonathan Lawes, Susie Lidstone, Tamsin Arrowsmith-Brown and Hannah Gibson.
