The Six Nations rugby tournament has brought an unexpected boost to Haslemere Museum, where a themed lunch with a live match screening is set to provide excitement as well as raising funds.
The France v Wales game on March 18 will be beamed on a big screen at the museum, following a lunch of Welsh and French-themed food. There will also be a bar and half-time raffle.
As a charity, the museum is always grateful for fund-raising ideas and was delighted to host the event, which is the brainchild of Christopher Ashton-Jones and Melanie Odell.
“This will be a first for the museum and promises to be a lot of fun,” said Melanie. “Tickets are going fast!”
All are welcome to book a place via the museum website.
