There’s still time to buy tickets for Phyllis Tuckwell’s Motor Show, which will return on Sunday, August 11, after the success of its fantastic sell-out show last year.

There are limited spaces left for those who would like to exhibit their vehicle, and tickets are selling fast for those who would like to come and see this incredible display of vehicles and motoring memorabilia.

But tickets must be purchased in advance as they won’t be on sale on the day, so don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.

Last year’s motor show welcomed around 3,000 people to a private venue in Churt, where it will be held again this year.

More than 700 vehicles and hundreds of pieces of motoring memorabilia were on show, including the venue owners’ private collection of more than 60 pristine classic cars from 1903 to the present day, including the fastest car in the world, plus more than 100 petrol pumps and thousands of pieces of memorabilia.

Since the last show they have added some new vehicles to their collection, so do come along to see these impressive new cars.

Ruth Masters, who is the head of fundraising at Phyllis Tuckwell, said: “We’re delighted to be able to hold our motor show at this amazing location again this year, and are very grateful to Robert and Tanya Lewis, who own the venue, for making this possible and for opening up their own incredible private collection of vehicles and motoring memorabilia for all to view.

“We would also like to thank Vizion Insurance Brokers, based in Farnham, who are kindly sponsoring the motor show and will be attending on the day.”

Exhibitor registration costs £25 for cars and camper vans, and £15 for motorcycles and scooters. Attendee tickets are priced at £30 per car and £20 per motorcycle, which gains entrance for the vehicle, driver and all passengers to the show and private museum.

Ticket sales for the motor show will raise important funds to help support Phyllis Tuckwell’s care, but these funds can be boosted even further by the silent auction and raffle which will be held there on the day.

If you are able to donate any items which could be given as raffle prizes or auctioned, Phyllis Tuckwell would be really grateful.

These could be vehicle-related items, or more general prizes such as boxes of chocolates, bottles of wine or spirits, or other luxury items.

If you have a connection with a golf club that could donate a four-ball round of golf, or a restaurant that could donate a dining experience or afternoon tea, these experiences would be very gratefully received.

All of the money raised by the motor show, through ticket sales, raffle and silent auction, will go directly towards helping Phyllis Tuckwell provide its supportive and end of life care.

Every day it supports more than 250 patients, relatives and carers, but as the NHS/government only covers 25 per cent of its costs, it has to raise more than £25,000 per day to do this, which is why events such as this are so important.
