StreetNation Dance School performed its eighth show to two sold-out audiences at the Haslemere Hall on Saturday, February 24.
More than 120 children danced in the two-hour Level Up showcase that had everyone up off their seats. A total of over 500 people enjoyed the events.
The programme consisted of street dance and involved students ranging in age from four to 18 years old.
It created an electric atmosphere and one boy said: “That was the best thing I’ve ever done!”
Deeza Harris, the artist director for StreetNation, said: “The children exceeded all expectations and performed to a high level while keeping community and support for each other at the forefront of their minds.”
StreetNation dance school was established in 2009 in Haslemere by Karen Musco and Nadeana Simpson and has gone from strength to strength.
The company has taken on various areas in the last two years, and included Midhurst and Bordon students in its Haslemere show.
StreetNation founders Nadeana and Karen said: “We are delighted and proud of all the achievements our company is making and it’s only possible with the sheer hard work of the students and teachers that are so passionate about making movement matter.”
