Mr Gascoigne-Pees, who lived in Castle Street, Farnham, set up the highly successful business with his brother, Harold, in Surbiton in 1934.
The brothers expanded the estate agency into Guildford before opening numerous branches across the area, including one in Farnham.
Mr Gascoigne-Pees' son Ian also ran a section of the partnership for some years until the business became part of Black Horse Agencies, under the ownership of Lloyds Bank.
The business was put on hold with the outbreak of World War Two. Mr Gascoigne-Pees joined the Army as an officer were he saw service in north west Europe and took part in the D-Day landings, after which he was mentioned in despatches.
He spent a large part of the war in India which he toured extensively while attached to the Gurkha units.
In 1953, Mr Gascoigne-Pees settled with his family in Seale, where he spent 15 years before moving to Castle Street were he lived for the last 30 years.
He was well known in the local community and was a keen member of Farnham Bowls Club.
He was also a committee members of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Born in New Zealand in 1913, Mr Gascoigne-Pees attended Warwick School and Churcher's College, in Petersfield.
He leaves his wife Doreen, three children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
