SELBORNE farmer David Ashcroft was on the march again, this time not with "Baby", his prize South Devon bull, but bearing a plate containing an ox heart and a beef bone tied up in red tape.
Seeking an immediate lifting of the ban on selling beef on the bone and an end to the French import ban on British beef, Mr Ashcroft presented a leaflet to number ten Downing Street in front of the world's media.
