A storytime event with an underwater theme will be held in Farnham town centre this weekend.

Much-loved local storyteller Gilly Stewart will lead a free session this Saturday at Lion & Lamb Yard.

The one-hour session will begin at 11am by the sculpture outside Waterstones and will include crafts, activities and “all manner of entertainment” for younger children.

The event will focus on the beauty of the ocean, with parents encouraged to bring a cushion for comfort.
