Farnham and Bordon Conservative candidate Gregory Stafford is taking part in an annual fundraiser.

Mr Stafford is undertaking a sponsored 10km run on Monday, May 6 in Tilford to support the children of All Saints Infant School.

Funds raised from the run will go towards constructing an all-weather athletics track for the school.

The track will allow pupils to access a daily outlet for energy and the school hopes it will improve fitness to combat childhood obesity, and enhance mental well-being through outdoor activity.

Mr Stafford said: “As someone who's tackled a few half marathons in my younger years but hasn't done any serious running for some time, I promise you – this is more about community spirit than speed.

“Let's make a difference together and build a brighter future for our children and community.
