Glastonbury festival has been unrivalled as the top festival in the UK for years, but has Waverley Grange Bupa Care Home come to take their title?

The Farnham care home has created a music festival experience, transporting residents back to their hot summer-festival days.

Resident David Matthews, 73, said: “I really enjoyed it when the Sinatra singer gave me the microphone and let me sing along. I sang in a choir my whole life, so this was really special for me.”

The community of Farnham was welcomed in to create the experience, with a talented ten year-old pianist, military bagpiper, saxophone quartet and Frank Sinatra tribute headlining the wholesome weekend event.

One hundred and twenty Bupa care homes throughout England dedicate themselves to helping people live longer, healthier lives through fun, engaging events which stimulate both the mind and body.
