The contents of a celebrity haunt near Guildford will go under the hammer at a Farnham auction house next Thursday (January 9).
Parker Fine Art Auctions are set for a banging day of business as the contents of Broadway Barn will be sold at their Hawthorn House base on East Street.
The Ripley property was owned by the late Melinda “Mindy” McLean, a US-born international PR guru whose projects included the Chelsea Harbour development.
The keen patron of the arts also created an award-winning luxury holiday business while her home often welcomed celebrities with Sam Smith and Paul Weller among guests.
A large-scale Jim Dine self-portrait with a guide price of £60-80k will go under the hammer along with select paintings, silver and jewellery from Mindy’s collection.
Antique furnishings, designer handbags and garden effects will be up for grabs with four-hour viewings taking place at Broadway Farm from 10am on January 4, 5, 7 and 8.
Fine art and a selection of paintings, silver and jewellery from Mindy’s estate will be on show at Parker’s from 10am daily until next Thursday, with an earlier 9am start date on sale day.
