Farnham Town FC's walking team the Farnham Flares is looking for new players to represent the team for a new season.

The team was founded by Farnham Town FC with Waverley Borough Council in 2020 and the team became Farnham’s first walking football team.

The team are looking for Men and Women over the age of 45 to play in their teams. The teams play all year round in competitions across Hampshire and Surrey.

The team play a six-a-side version of football which is non-contact and one foot must be on at all times to avoid running. Therefore it is perfect for those looking to get back into their favourite sports and make friends as well.

All training sessions are run by qualified and experienced coaches Training takes place every Wednesday between 7:30pm to 8:30pm on the astroturf at Weydon School in Farnham. They are offering any new players a free training session.
