An historic landmark in Farnham and a hit Channel 4 programme has been a marriage made in heaven.

Season Nine of Married at First Sight recently premiered with Farnham Castle taking centre stage in four episodes.

The castle was approached at the end of 2023 and was selected as the backdrop for multiple weddings after months of communications, visits and preparations.

Episode One saw Emma Barnes and Caspar Todd tie the knot in Lantern Hall with the Great Hall and Fox’s Tower Steps also featuring.

Episode 2 saw Lacey Martin arrive at the Tudor Courtyard in a Horse and Carriage she then walked down the aisle in a fairy-lit Great Hall, to meet her Groom, Nathan Campbell, for the very first time.

Episode 4 saw the Great Hall used again for Adam Nightingale and Polly Sellman's wedding while Episode 5 saw Alex Henry and Holly Ditchfield walk down the aisle in the Winchester Suite.
